Experience

I started 30 years ago creating and editing resumes and term papers for students, I moved quickly into my own word processing business as well as transcription including medical transcription, assisting in publishing novels, role playing games, and screenplays.  I had the opportunity to work in places like Washington Mutual, Microsoft, Nintendo, AT&T Wireless, and Cingular.  I've spent a lot of time in tech support where all that was between me and the client was that phone line and having to visualize what the problem was and walking the client through to a solution.  I am also one of those people who if I don't know the answer I will do everything possible to find it and if I don't I will tell you the truth.

I spent some time in helping teens and the elderly with their computers by offering affordable one on one instruction where you stay in control of the mouse and keypad.  In addition to instruction, I also shop for or with clients to get them the right equipment so they are not sold something unnecessarily by a sales person and then setting it all up and teaching them how to use it.

I have set up several small businesses with bookkeeping systems mostly using Quick-books completing everything from payroll to taxes, most of the time completing the work remotely.  I have worked for several landscaping, construction, medical billing, and lighting companies.
